With nearly 20 years of experience in behavioral data and research technology, Mika Ristimäki joins Behavix as a co-founder and will spearhead the engineering activities.

Mika has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of behavioral data solutions and has previously held leadership roles in groundbreaking companies like Zokem, Arbitron/Nielsen, Verto Analytics and DISQO where he was instrumental in building the next-generation behavioral data technologies.

Joining Mika in Helsinki, Dmitrii Tikhonov and Pete Ropponen will bring decades of software architecture and engineering experience.

Dmitrii Tikhonov, a highly respected software architect, hailing from F-Secure and DISQO, has a history of creating sophisticated data processing pipelines and working within the fields of online security and safety. His expertise will ensure that Behavix’s proprietary behavioral data solutions continue to be the most advanced in the industry while maintaining high standards of data security and ethics.

Pete Ropponen, a seasoned software engineer and architect, has been at the forefront of developing scalable, cutting-edge platforms and consumer facing applications. His versatile background with Reaktor, Adidas, KLM/Air France, Rovio (Hatch Entertainment) and his knowledge of low-level internals of operating systems makes him a key asset to Behavix’s mission.

Oscar brings an unparalleled wealth of experience from his time at CINT, where he played a key role in developing the company’s unique platform and led the organization through its highly successful IPO.

Oscar joined CINT in 2000 after a successful tenure at Ericsson. Over the years, he has been responsible for product development, technology, and operations as well as overseeing CINT’s expansion into the US market and has been recognized as one of the leading figures in innovation within the ResTech and MarTech sectors. In 2017, Oscar took on the role of Chief Innovation Officer, tasked to oversee the company’s initiatives in MarTech and Ad Measurement and overall data strategy leading it to its IPO. Currently advising companies across the globe on innovation and strategy, Oscar will work closely with Behavix’s leadership to drive strategic partnerships with panel companies and data buyers. He will help scale Behavix’s business with his extensive network and unparalleled expertise.
